PRESS: Operators could switch off half corp mobile numbers Dec 1
MOSCOW, Nov 15 (PRIME) -- More than a half of corporate mobile numbers in Russia can be disconnected after December 1 because of violation of the law on gray SIM cards, business daily Kommersant reported on Monday.
The country now has about 32 million corporate SIM cards, according to Mobile Research group.
More than a half of corporate clients of mobile operators have not entered data on final users of SIM cards to the unified system of identification and authentication of state services portal Gosuslugi as the law requires, TMT Consulting General Director Konstantin Ankilov said.
The firms that signed a contract with an operator before June 1 must submit the needed information by November 30, otherwise the operator will be obliged to suspend the provision of services from December 1.
